State of the Club
Hello, ladies and gentlemen, finally we are opening the last 365 days of the century. We, TIME Maniacs, have done really great jobs for the last year and with those milestones, we are beginning to fill up the remaining days of the century. We've defeated the Syberia cold with our devotion, endevour and dedication. And soon the spring is going to shoot out another new shoots.
Let us look back what we've done for the last year. Among many rememberable things, we've succeeded in the shift of power from the '93rd year school members to the '94th. And that means we have better leadership, 'cause I surely believe that the '93rd guys are not going to discard the club, trying to find their own big ones.
Another remarkable event is the '98th year school members have rooted in the club and they are already sucking up just enough water and nutritions for growth, which is the most satiable result of the recent years. And we, TIME Maniacs, have shown great cohesive power in dealing with almost all events. So I, as a senior, can take a back seat with a bright smile. Those are not the whole story. I just cann't help feeling sorry that I cann't bring up other significant events.
We cann't wear a smile all day 'cause we are young, 'cause we are not going to die tomorrow, and 'cause we have another important businesses to take care. We, TIME Maniacs, gotta be ready to follow any good foot prints. Our seniors made what we are now, and they are still keeping their sharp eyes upon us whether we are taking proper way out of the woods. When we can come up with any better approach, then we can take the new approach but if not, we need to follow our seniors' foot prints so as not to get lost.
We, TIME Maniacs, gotta be ready to take in another members. Our club could have good traditions, 'cause we could have new members every year. Without them, out club is history. So, how to deal with the new members can be more important than anything else in terms of traditions. And it does carry more weight than any other businesses.
We, TIME Maniacs, gotta be ready to criticize and admit any mistakes. Part of our jobs in the club can be said to be criticizing and admitting their faults. We gotta feel free to find faults and happy to admit mistakes
We, TIME Maniacs, need to find better and easier way of studying English. Lots of us are burning valuable time in digging up English. In order to make time to get to know those around us, we need to cut down the time reserved for English. All of us have been studying English for at least 7 years and we know that we are tired. We need to find any easier way to knock out the stranger for so many reasons.
We, TIME Maniacs, need to be efficient in keeping up with the times and we need to have an open mind. We realize that the movers and shakers are moved and shaken due to the IMF. We need to be quick to adapt ourselves to the current situation, and in order to make it happen we need to keep our options open so that we can keep up with the times. And willing to have open mind to share those information.
For this and that reasons, we, TIME Maniacs, need to stay in a group, direct others out of harm's way, and celebrate their success. Here I, as a member of Gyeong Sang TIME Study Association, suggest our members support others and cheer them up.
And bright Millennium just opened.
